REFERRALS |
For patients seeking consultation with Mr Savage it is important to obtain a referral letter from your General Practiioner. He/she is the main professional who looks after patients and puts specialist treatments in perspective. He/she will be able to guide patients whether referral is appropriate and will inform Mr. Savage of the salient medical details of the patient's case and provide additional medical / social information that may have a bearing on assessment and treatment.
Where appropriate, patients should obtain copies of test results e.g. nerve conduction studies, and actual radiographs / scans. Sometimes a report of scans will be adequate. Patients should bring these to the clinic visit / consultation if possible.
